Butterfly Poster

 Sailing though the sky,

Bright colors surrounding them,

No care in the world,

Wings flapping fast in the air,

Bright, beautiful butterflies.

The poster that I had was a white poster with what looked like many butterflies across the page. They looked similar to the butterfly above. As far as colors go, I remember seeing many rainbow colors along with some browns.

The pattern reminds me of a few different parts of my life. First off, it reminds me of my dad's girlfriend, Amanda. Amanda is obsessed with butterflies. She loves them, so you can assure that no matter where you are standing in her house there will always be at least one butterfly in view. This goes for her car, too. For christmas I bought her a butterfly license plate cover.

It also reminds me of my childhood. When I was younger, I too was obsessed with butterflies. I had butterflies all over my walls, and I even had an enormous butterfly parachute hooked to my ceiling, draped across the room. It was pretty awesome. Even as I write this post, I have a Tervis mug sitting next to me with butterflies on it. I guess you can say some things never change.
